Rebecca Kershner works along side her husband, Bill, at Christian Student Fellowship on campus at Indiana University. She has worked with college students as a small group leader and mentored many girls over the past 10 years. She is also a LifePlan facilitator through the Paterson Center. In this process, she coaches people through a two day process of better understanding the gifts and talents God has given them and how to live out that calling through a strategic process using a series of 16 tools. Her greatest calling and love is her two children, Charlie, 11 and Emma 9.
God has promised us throughout the bible that He has a plan for our lives. Sometimes its hard to figure out what that plan is. Through discovering your gifts and talents, along with your heart’s passion, you can influence the world as you bravely live out your calling!
Session Three Group Discussion
Erika is a wife to Jeff Barnhill and mother of 4 children. She is a home school mom with a passion to love and serve her family. In her free time she loves to read, be outdoors, and spend time with friends and family.
Jessica is originally from the Buckeye state. However, she decided to became a Hoosier when she married her now husband of five years, Andy Fry. She went to college and started a career in campus recreation at Miami University (Oxford, OH), then transitioned to Indiana University. Jessica has since become the mother of a very curious and happy little one year old boy. She is very thankful for all the experiences in her life, as they have led her to trust more and more every day in God and His plan for her life.
Jessica will be a part of a group discussing community. There you will hear her story about setting boundaries and the struggle of finding friends that helped restore her relationship with God.
Annette is married to Tony and has three children, ranging from 14 to 24. When she isn’t homeschooling her freshman daughter or driving to Greenwood for gymnastics, Annette enjoys reading a good book while sipping a cup of coffee and savoring some dark chocolate. Her favorite activities of all, however, are traveling with her family and playing board games.
Jennifer is an IU alumni where she majored in elementary education and met her wonderful husband, Ryan, of 10 years. She is a former teacher turned stay at home mom to three amazing kids. She has learned more and grown closer to God through her experiences with the youth in her life; students, her 7 nieces and her own children.
